Ron Paler
Dr. Ronald Paler is the National Medical Director for Genetic Testing and Lab Medicine at Carelon. His career is notable for 25 years of experience in the setting of laboratory services primarily in the area of molecular testing and anatomic pathology and cytopathology. He has served as Laboratory Medical Director at a large national reference laboratory where he was responsible for ensuring laboratory accreditation with CLIA, CAP, and NYS. He is involved with professional society quality initiatives including ISO 15189 and has served as a laboratory quality inspector. He is a proponent of laboratory safety and best practices. He has been a member of the College of American Pathologists Personalized Health Care committee. He is a supporter of the PRIDE BRG at Elevance Health.
