Hakim Lakhani
Hakim Lakhani is a healthcare systems engineering leader specializing in the design and transformation of complex care delivery environments. He serves as Senior Director of Health Systems Transformation at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where he supports enterprise initiatives focused on care delivery design, operational reliability, and patient experience and safety improvement. His work integrates systems engineering, human factors, and data-driven methodologies to reduce risk, optimize workflows, and enhance patient and staff experiences across healthcare settings.
Hakim has played a key role in the planning and design of next-generation cancer care facilities, applying simulation, patient flow modeling, and safety risk assessments to inform clinical operations and built environments. His work focuses on designing and enabling system-based approaches that enhance operational efficiency, patient and staff experience, and system safety.
