Mitesh Rao
Dr. Mitesh B. Rao, MD, MHS, is a distinguished physician, entrepreneur, and leader at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and patient safety. He is the Founder and CEO of OMNY Health, a company dedicated to revolutionizing how healthcare data is shared and valued. In addition to his entrepreneurial work, Dr. Rao is a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician and serves as an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Stanford University. Before founding OMNY Health, he was the Chief Patient Safety Officer for Stanford Healthcare, where he was responsible for leading Patient Safety, Quality, and System Redesign for the entire enterprise. He also served as the Director of Stanford's Center for Advancing Patient Safety, which focuses on advancing scientific discovery and implementing new innovations in patient safety and quality improvement. Prior to his tenure at Stanford, Dr. Rao was the Director of the Patient Safety Education Program at Northwestern Medicine and the Head of Research and Integration for the health system's innovation program. A graduate of the Yale School of Medicine, he further honed his leadership and research skills as a prestigious Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Program Fellow.
